This week I found a site that has tons of free cross stitch patterns of all kinds. They have free patterns in a variety of categories including holiday designs, charities, animals, babies, floral, and much more.

EMS Cross Stitch Design has lots of great patterns for just about any purpose you can imagine. All they ask is that you register with their forum to gain access to all of the free patterns that they have available to share.

It looks like a really nice community from what I've seen so far, and they have some great free cross stitch patterns available to share.

When it comes to requesting free stuff online, one of the most time consuming parts is filling out the forms. At first I kept all of the information saved to a notebook file so that I could quickly copy and paste, but sometimes that is even more time consuming or tedious than just typing the information in repeatedly.

Eventually I found a solution to my problem when I discovered a nifty piece of free software called RoboForm

More Free Cross Stitch Patterns

A while back I posted a link to a site that offers two free cross stitch patterns every two weeks. If you missed it, you should go check it out. They have got some great free patterns.

I found another site called BirdCrossStitch.com today that is also offering some really nice free cross stitch patterns. They have free cross stitch patterns of hummingbirds and other birds, as well as a bluebird alphabet, ladybug alphabet, butterfly patterns, and southwest designs. I have only taken a quick look around before posting this, but from what I have seen so far, this looks like a great free cross stitch resource. From what I have seen so far, there are lots of wonderful patterns here.

Remove Your Name From Telemarketing Lists

If you are tired of telemarketers calling you at all hours, you can add your number to the National Do Not Call Registry, and get rid of many of the annoying telemarketers who are hounding you constantly. Free Laundry Stain Remover

I don't know about you, but it seems like I am always coming up with some impossible stains in my laundry. I guess that with kids, I should expect it. Anyway, ordinary detergent alone doesn't always get them out, and you can't always add bleach. I often use the detergents with the bleach alternatives added, but even those don't get a lot of the stains out.

I was looking for a better answer, and although I don't know whether or not this will work any better, I have sent away for my free sample of BIZ laundry stain remover. According to the website, you just add it to your washer along with your regular detergent, and your clothes come out clean. Like everything else, we will have to wait and see, but with a free sample you can't go wrong. Why not send for yours and find out for yourself?

I found an interesting website today that shares recipes and directions for making your own homemade soap. Elaine White, author of the "Soap Recipes" book has decided to share some of her free soap making recipes with us.

Although I will probably still buy the ready made melt and pour soap ingredients to pour into molds, I thought that it might be interesting to learn how to make my own soap from scratch by following a recipe too. In any case, I thought that Elaine White's free soap making recipes & directions: how to make soap was a pretty good find, and hoped that it might be of interest to others as well.

If you are like me and have some extra weight to lose and want to do it in a healthy way, you might be interested in visiting the website I use to track my progress. I have a free account at fitday.com where you can keep track of several things including the foods you eat, your daily activities, your weight, your goals, and more.

You select the foods you eat from their extensive lists, and add them to your list of foods eaten for the day. The calories are added up, along with some of the other nutrients. If your food isn't listed, you can add it to the list as a custom food using the nutrition information from the label.

You also choose the activity you are doing and add it to your activities for the day. If my activity isn't listed I just pick something as close as I can from the list so that the calories burned are about the same. It will add it all up for you and let you know how many calories you burned, how many you have eaten, and how everything compares. It even graphs things out for you so you can watch your weight go down (hopefully) over time.

I use this telephone number when completing offers, and it saves me the hassle of having my number added to all of the telemarketing lists.

I learned from previous experience that passing out your telephone number when filling out online forms is a surefire way to attract the telemarketers. Many places won't send you their offers at all if they can't verify your telephone number. With Privatephone you can record your own greeting, and check your messages online or by telephone. You can even get voice mail alerts in your email or on your cell phone. It really couldn't be much simpler.

Saving Big with Rite Aid Single Check Rebates

My family has come across some hard times in the past, and if it had not been for the abundance of free products I was able to find, I do not know how we would have survived.

From the beginning, I have done much of my freebie finding offline as well as online. I would suggest that you do the same. There are some great freebies online, but many more to be found in newspaper and magazine advertisements, as well as in-store specials and on product labels. Watch carefully and you never know what you may find.

For those of you who have a Rite Aid Drug Store in your area, if you are not taking advantage of their rebates, you are really missing the boat. Every month they run a promotion called “Single Check Rebates” and have rebates available on several products. Many of the rebates are only for a dollar or two off the item (which is often on sale saving you even more) but they usually have several items available with a full price rebate as well.

I have gotten many full size products free by taking advantage of these Single Check Rebates. All you have to do is go into the store and purchase the items from the special flier, then you can fill out the information on the form in the flier and mail that in along with your receipt, or even better, you can do what I do and request your check online. They will send you a check for the combined totals of all of your rebates. It really could not be easier.
