I found a new site today called Instuctables.com that has thousands of user-created do-it-yourself projects and instructions. No matter what your skill level, there are thousands of step by step for making all sorts of projects of all kinds.

Instructables.com also hosts Forums and Groups, where you can discuss your DIY ventures with other crafters and get some helpful tricks and tips.

Free classroom supplies for teachers

If you would like free materials for your classroom, check out the website DonorsChoose.org. Their motto is Teachers ask. You choose. Students learn. This is a great website, and it is very easy to donate or redeem if you are a teacher.

Teachers are able to submit their request for needed classroom materials, and donors then choose to sponsor selected classrooms. Submitting a request on behalf of your classroom does not guarantee that you will get the materials you need, but who knows, you just may find a donor willing to sponsor your classroom.

This week I found a site that has tons of free cross stitch patterns of all kinds. They have free patterns in a variety of categories including holiday designs, charities, animals, babies, floral, and much more.

EMS Cross Stitch Design has lots of great patterns for just about any purpose you can imagine. All they ask is that you register with their forum to gain access to all of the free patterns that they have available to share.

It looks like a really nice community from what I've seen so far, and they have some great free cross stitch patterns available to share.

Free RoboForm Software: Fill Out Online Forms and More with One Click

When it comes to requesting free stuff online, one of the most time consuming parts is filling out the forms. At first I kept all of the information saved to a notebook file so that I could quickly copy and paste, but sometimes that is even more time consuming or tedious than just typing the information in repeatedly.
